Helping Birds in Need: A Guide from ATBAY LLC

Today, I received a call from a concerned homeowner in Bridgeport, CT. Solar panel installers had inadvertently removed a nest containing two baby pigeons. Unfortunately, the parents hadn't returned to the nest, leaving the homeowner unsure of what to do next.

At ATBAY LLC, we are dedicated to humane wildlife control and providing assistance in such situations. Helping Birds and Wildlife in Need is a Priority to ATBAY LLC

Here are some steps to consider if you encounter a similar issue:

Immediate Actions

  • Reunite with Parents: If possible, place the baby birds in a shaded area near the original nest site. Parents may return to care for them.

  • Contact Local Rehabilitators: The Connecticut Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (CWRA) offers a list of local rehabilitators who can provide professional care for injured or orphaned birds. Visit their website here.

Why This Matters

Proper handling of wildlife can make a significant difference in their survival and well-being. As part of our commitment to humane practices, we believe in providing the right resources and information to those in need.
